Where to Print Boudoir Photos: Privacy, Quality, and Other Considerations

I have my digitals – now where should I print them?

Whenever you’re on a budget, it makes sense to try to find any way to cut corners with your boudoir order – it’s a luxury expense, for sure, but it’s wise to check out all your options for how to get your images into your hands.

Shutterfly, Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens all offer cheap printing services, and it can be really tempting to print through them. When considering that, though, consider your own privacy. While we wouldn’t go so far as to say your intimate pictures are likely to be leaked, it’s good to be mindful that the minimum age for hire at many of those stores is 16, even 14 in some states, and none of them are specifically woman-staffed companies. Not only that, but the quality of prints is questionable at best, and often distorts true tones of the images you’re printing.

We recommend working either directly with a professional photo lab, or just ordering through your boudoir photographer, who can generally get you a better rate than if you order straight through a lab, and will be able to create a custom order perfectly fitted to you and your needs. Not only that, but you know without a doubt that your images will be kept private and not seen by anyone you don’t want seeing them.

It’s a personal decision, and there’s no one best way for everyone, but we encourage you to consider the quality, privacy, and longevity of your products. Boudoir is such a special experience and we want you to enjoy your photos forever.
