At Cherie Amour Boudoir, we guide you through the entire experience from start to finish. Before your session, you’ll receive helpful preparation resources, outfit guidance, and support from our team whenever questions come up.
When it’s time for your shoot, your photographer will walk you through everything. Boudoir photography is a specialized art form, and our photographers are trained to direct poses, expressions, and movement in a way that feels natural, flattering, and confidence-boosting, even if you’ve never been in front of a camera before.
Booking is simple! Depending on the session or package you’re interested in, there is typically either a session fee or a refundable deposit required to reserve your date, since our sessions tend to book up quickly and availability can be limited. You can easily book online by visiting our booking page, entering your zip code, and selecting the closest Cherie Amour Boudoir location we photograph out of. For the best experience, we recommend booking your session at least one month in advance. However, if you need your images for a special occasion, we suggest booking 3-4 months ahead to allow ample time for your order to be processed and delivered. This also gives you the flexibility to use our payment plans and avoid rush fees. If you’re in a pinch, we offer expedited delivery options to help get your images sooner.
We offer boudoir sessions ranging from 60 minutes to 150 minutes, and the session length you choose really depends on the type of experience you’re looking for.
Our 60-minute sessions are the most popular for a standard boudoir experience and give us plenty of time to create a beautiful variety of images. If you have a more detailed vision in mind – like incorporating multiple themes, elaborate outfits, props, or simply want extra time to settle in and play around creatively – we typically recommend booking one of our longer sessions. No matter which option you choose, our goal is to make sure you never feel rushed and that you leave feeling confident, comfortable, and excited about your experience with Cherie Amour Boudoir.
Not at all. Most of our clients have never been professionally photographed and often arrive saying they have “no idea what to do” in front of a camera. That’s exactly what we’re here for. Our photographers at Cherie Amour Boudoir will guide you through every pose, expression, movement, and angle so you never have to figure it out on your own. We demonstrate each pose, give clear direction throughout the session, and tailor everything to flatter your unique body and help you feel comfortable. Most clients are surprised by how quickly the nerves fade once the session begins and how much fun they end up having.
We photograph in cities all across the country! We don’t have a fixed studio location. Instead, we hold sessions in luxurious hotels, professional studios, or partner Airbnbs in select cities. This allows us to create unique, intimate settings that align with the mood of your session.
We don’t offer hair and makeup services at this time. However, our team is always here to support you if you have any questions in that area leading up to your session.
We’re more than happy to provide styling tips, general recommendations, and guidance to help you feel confident and prepared for your shoot. At Cherie Amour Boudoir, we want you to feel fully supported from start to finish, and that includes helping however we can with your overall look and preparation.
If you had a deposit required to book your photo shoot, it is fully refundable as long as you attend your session or reschedule in accordance with our policy. Our standard policy allows one free reschedule if it is made outside of 22 days prior to your scheduled shoot. Think of it like a deposit for a salon appointment – it simply holds your date and time for your session at Cherie Amour Boudoir. As long as the policy is followed, your deposit is returned or honored appropriately. That said, session fees are different. If your booking required a session fee rather than a deposit, those are non-refundable.
We do not require you to wear anything specific for your session. Lingerie is what most of our clients choose, but it’s absolutely not your only option. We also have clients who wear slips, chemises, oversized button-ups with panties, boxer briefs with a simple everyday bra, bodysuits, or other pieces that feel more like you.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing. Just keep in mind that, regardless of outfit choice, the posing style will still reflect the more elevated, sensual boudoir experience you see in our work at Cherie Amour Boudoir and our photographers will guide you through that in a way that feels natural and supportive.

We recommend keeping your session one-on-one with your photographer. This helps create a more relaxed environment, makes posing and direction easier, and ensures the space doesn’t feel crowded or distracting during your shoot.
That said, we understand some clients feel more comfortable bringing support with them. You are welcome to bring one additional guest as long as they are legally female and 19 years or older, and your photographer is notified in advance.
If you are feeling nervous, a common approach is to have your guest join you at the beginning to meet your photographer, see the space, and help you settle in before stepping out for the remainder of the session.

Part of your experience with Cherie Amour Boudoir is your Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment. This is a 90-minute virtual session where you’ll get to view your images for the first time and choose your favorites. We typically schedule this appointment 1–2 weeks after your photo shoot, and it will be booked at the same time as your session so everything is already planned for you.
During your reveal, you’ll join one of our team members who will walk you through your gallery, help you narrow down your favorites, and guide you through all available product and digital options. Our goal is to make sure you feel supported in choosing what best fits your vision and budget, without any pressure.

We also recommend coming into your ordering appointment with a general budget in mind so we can help tailor your collection in a way that feels right for you.
For clients who pay in full, our guaranteed delivery and processing timeline is 4 weeks after your Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment. We begin editing and production immediately after your appointment to ensure we stay on track with that timeline and deliver your final images as efficiently as possible.
If you need your images sooner, we do offer expedited processing options. Your Image Specialist can go over those with you during your ordering appointment and help you decide what makes the most sense for your needs. If you are using a layaway plan, your products will be delivered within 2 weeks of your final payment being completed.
At your Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment, the images you see will have basic edits applied so you’re not viewing completely raw files. This includes things like light and color correction and selecting the strongest images (for example, removing shots where eyes are closed or expressions aren’t ideal). However, these images are not fully retouched yet. Once you select the images you’d like to purchase, your Image Specialist will go over our retouching options with you during your appointment so you can decide exactly what level feels right for you. We offer different levels of retouching depending on how natural or refined you want your final images to look.
You also always have the option to choose no retouching at all – it’s completely up to you and your personal preference. The goal is to make sure your final images reflect your vision and what feels most authentic to you.
Your photos will not be shared online unless you explicitly give us permission to do so. If you’ve seen our website or social media, you’ll notice we do share client images – however, those women have personally granted us permission for their photos to be used for marketing purposes.
At Cherie Amour Boudoir, we fully respect your privacy and completely understand that many clients prefer to keep their images private due to the personal nature of boudoir photography. Because of that, nothing is ever shared without your clear consent, and the decision is entirely yours.
This is our number one question – and a great one to ask. At Cherie Amour Boudoir, we are a luxury boudoir photography company, and our experience is structured a bit differently than a typical local photographer. Instead of fixed packages, we operate on an a la carte model. This allows every client to fully personalize their experience based on what they actually want – whether that’s digital images, albums, wall art, or a combination of products.
Because of that, there isn’t one set price. Most clients typically invest anywhere between $1,200 and $2,500, with the final amount depending entirely on your personal image and product selections during your ordering appointment.

Nope, not at all. We actually only work with tasteful nudity here at Cherie Amour Boudoir, which means anything from the belt line down is off limits. Everything above that is completely up to you and your comfort level.

There’s no pressure either way, and we always guide you based on what you’re comfortable with in the moment.
Many of our clients are soon-to-be brides, so we attend bridal shows and women-focused events throughout the year to connect with that community and share the boudoir experience. At these events, we offer select giveaway packages. After each show, depending on the number of entries and our availability in that city, we choose a set number of winners to receive a session.
